WHEN ARE AUDITIONS HELD?
Auditions are held at the start of each school year. You can drop by Younger Hall at any point from 7-9pm on September 19th (in Room 2) or 20th (in Room 5). No sign-up is necessary—just pop in whenever you're ready and show us what you've got!
WHAT SHOULD I PREPARE?
You'll be asked to sing a verse and chorus from a song of your choice. Pick something you're comfortable performing that shows off your range. Feel free to also beatbox, or even rap! It only takes a few minutes to audition—if we like what we hear, we'll ask you to come in again for a callback. For more song ideas, come to the Music Fayre at Younger Hall during Freshers' Week or check out our YouTube videos to get a sense for the type of songs we typically perform.
Above all, remember to be yourself! We love seeing auditions that convey the singer's personality and background. Whatever you have to bring to the table— a unique tone, sick beats, or soulful runs—we can't wait to hear your audition! Auditions can be nervewracking but the most important part is to have fun with it!
